Public Transport
The Public Transport network in The Netherlands is excellent. Easily and comfortably you can move around the country by train or bus. Hotel Kadampa Holland is situated at a 7 minutes walk of the local train station of Schin op Geul. Trains to Maastricht and Heerlen depart every half hour and are fully reliable. The train takes you from Schin op Geul to Maastricht in 15 minutes. The international train takes you from Hotel Kadampa Holland to Brussels within 1.5 hour, to Paris (by Thalys via Aachen) within 4 hours and to London (by Eurostar via Brussels) within 5 hours!
Trains run 24 hours a day between the larger Dutch cities, and until 12:30am from Maastricht or Heerlen to Hotel Kadampa Holland in Schin op Geul. Train tickets can be bought at ticket counters or the yellow ticket vending machines in each train station.
Also busses to local villages are frequent and at a few minutes walk from Hotel Kadampa Holland.
